Phase one is a significant element of the twelve phases that make up the city. It constitutes 2.8 square kilometers of the entire project will feature more than 3,233 apartments and villas and will be home to approximately 16,000 residents living in neighborhood communities with schools, retail outlets, doctors’ clinics, libraries, hotels, restaurants, mosques and other ancillary public services.
 

In addition to the residences designed by leading architectural design and consulting firm Foster + Partners, Phase 1 will include hotels, an 18-hole PGA standard golf course, marina, natural parkland and extensive tourism and recreational facilities.
 

The design and building of all the other phases of the city will be determined over the next 12 - 15 years. Upon completion the city that will be a home to 200,000 people will become a new tourism and business destination of national, regional and international significance.
